Zingle-managed deployment

In the Zingle-managed model, Zingle hosts and operates the platform. Your team connects your Git repository and data warehouse, and Zingle runs the web app, backend, agent runtime, and metadata store on your behalf.

This is the fastest way to get started - there's no infrastructure for your team to provision or run.

What runs where

  • The web app, backend, agent runtime, and metadata store run in Zingle's environment.
  • Your warehouse and Git repository remain yours; Zingle connects to them over the network using credentials you provide.

Data handling

  • Warehouse credentials and Git tokens are stored encrypted at rest.
  • Query results used to preview data and validate models (capped per query) and project metadata are stored in the managed metadata store.

For the full detail of what is stored and for how long, see Data handling and Data retention.

Multi-tenancy

The managed service is multi-tenant. Every object - users, repositories, connections, and sessions - belongs to exactly one organization, and all data is isolated per organization. See Organizations & roles.
